Oysho Royal Parks Half Marathon

The Oysho Royal Parks Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 11 October 2026.

Up to 18,300 runners will be raising money for good causes. It will be necessary to close some roads in the Royal Parks and Westminster for the event to take place. All road closures have been agreed in advance with Westminster City Council and Transport for London.

• Roads within Hyde Park will be closed from 00:01 on Sunday 11 October to 05:00 on Monday 12 October
• Roads within St James’s Park will be closed from 06:00 to 18:30 on Sunday 11 October
• Roads within Westminster will be closed from 07:00 to 12:30 on Sunday 11 October

Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens will be open to the public as usual throughout the weekend. However, users may be directed to different gates to access the Parks on Sunday 11 October. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained across the route at all times.

Drivers are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow additional time.

Cycle paths
Friday 9 October
From 09.00 on Friday 9 October Cycleway 3 on South Carriage Drive in Hyde Park will be suspended. There is a diversion in place for cyclists between West Carriage Drive and Hyde Park Corner via Rotten Row on this day only.

Saturday 10 October
In Hyde Park Cycleway 3 on South Carriage Drive, and cycle paths on Serpentine Road, The Broadwalk and Rotten Row will be suspended.
In Kensington Gardens cycling access to Albert Approach Road will be suspended.

Sunday 11 October 
In Hyde Park all cycle paths will be suspended including the Cycleway 3 on South Carriage Drive and the cycle path on Rotten Row. 
In Kensington Gardens all cycle paths and accessible parking bays will be suspended.
In The Green Park and St James’ Park Cycleway 3 will be suspended.
