The Royal Parks Half is more than just a 13.1 mile race, there’s plenty to do for all your friends, family and colleagues!
Our amazing Food & Fitness Festival has got lots going on, including:
- Taster sport sessions and have-a-go activities for all ages
- Live music and entertainment on the main stage
- The Jarlsberg Food Market with tasty treats and drinks to keep you and your supporters going all day
- A retail area for you to pick up sports kit and official merchandise
- Giant games
Cheering makes all the difference!
There are some great places along the route to suggest that your supporters can stand and where their support can make a big difference. The finish line is an obvious choice for cheering you on, and the Serpentine Road or Victoria Gate areas are always very popular.
Or how about the 10 mile-marker, to give you a boost for the final few miles? We would recommend checking out Kensington Gardens and the areas near the Albert Memorial, but keep in mind that if they also want to see you cross the finish line, they might need to jog part of the way too!!

Royal Parks Half Tracker App
To help your cheer squad follow you around the course, our best recommendation is to encourage your supporters to download our tracker app. Search for Royal Parks Half 2017 in an app store (Apple or Android) and ask them to search for you either by name or race number to add you to the tracker. It will pinpoint where you are on a map of the route and give them your estimated finish time. Trust us, it’s super helpful!
