When will the ballot results be announced?
The ballot will close at 5pm on Wednesday 2 February 2022 and no further entries will be admitted. The results of the ballot will be released on Friday 4 February 2022, followed by the “second-chance” draw results, on Monday 14 February 2022.
We will get in touch with you by email to confirm if you were successful in the ballot or not. Please remember to check your email on that day, including spam and junk folders.
If you're successful, you'll need to act quickly and follow our instructions to confirm your place. All first-round winners will need to confirm their place by 5pm on Friday 11 February, and all second-round winners will need to confirm their place by 5pm on Friday 18 February.
Is it free to enter the ballot?
Yes, you can enter the ballot completely free and it only takes a couple of minutes. There is an option to Pay Now if you wish to be entered into the ‘second-chance’ draw, however, this is optional and does not influence the first draw ballot results.
Is there an option to pay upfront in this ballot?
During registration, all entrants have the option to ‘Pay Now’ or ‘Pay Later’
This does not guarantee you a place in the race. The benefit of paying up-front is that if you do not receive a race place through the first ballot draw, you will then be entered into the "second chance" draw for any unallocated places.
If you are then unsuccessful in the "second chance" draw, your entry fee becomes a donation to The Royal Parks.
You’ll be entered into the first ballot draw only, and if successful, you’ll be invited to complete your registration and complete payment to confirm your place.
If I am successful in the ballot, how do I secure my place?
If you are successful in the ballot, you will need to follow the individual registration link in your results email to complete your registration. Even if you selected ‘Pay Now’, we will require you to redeem your place. Once you have successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation email from the event. Please check your junk and spam folders if you do not believe you've received this.
You MUST complete your registration AND pay for your place by the deadline or you will lose your place in the event. All first-round winners will need to confirm their place by 5pm on Friday 11 February, and all second-round winners will need to confirm their place by 5pm on Friday 18 February.
