Stuck for a new pair of trainers? Consider the following when looking to kit yourself out for your next race.
These race shoes are wonderfully light and yet very comfortable for relatively long distances. Although it has a minimal amount of sole density it still gives a great landing and take-off. They’re also worn by Chrissy Wellington (4 times World Ironman Winner) so that can’t be bad.
This hard mileage shoe from Brooks offers great balance and cushioning and keeps the foot nicely controlled throughout the running gait. If you are in training for a long distance event this shoe will not let you down.
This workhorse keeps getting better and better. This is a really well structured shoe that helps control and support the foot through hundreds of running miles.
These shoes are part of the new breed of barefoot/true running style shoes. They are very light and allow the foot to stretch and work more correctly. For general walking about and short runs they are incredibly comfortable. For your longer runs or if you pronate these shoes are not recommended. Of all the minimal shoes out there right now these are probably the best.
Not everyone is going to like these and if you suffer from tight calf muscles or Achilles it's not recommended that you start on these until you have greater mobility. However, these shoes are great at guiding you into a very efficient mid-foot running action and the Sir and Lady Isaacs have more stability than the rest of the Newton range, which we really like.

Every participant that takes part in the race will receive a soft, breathable and sustainable running shirt, combining the natural benefits of eco-friendly bamboo charcoal with the man-made resilience of recycled polyester. These race shirts are made entirely from recycled plastic bottles.
Enjoyed by many, these unique running shirts are environmentally friendly, comfortable and eye catching. They are also geared to runners due their high absorbency, quick dry, deodorising and thermal regulation.
