Sport Industry Awards 2012 Shortlist Revealed
14 February 2012The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon team is celebrating after being shortlisted in the prestigious Sport Industry Awards 2012, in the ‘Sport Participation Event of the Year’ category for the second year running.
The Sport Industry Group unveiled its official shortlist for the Sport Industry Awards 2012 today, after a rigorous steering process involving more than 40 key industry figures from across the industry and 50 hours of intensive judging.
This final list of nominees represents the very best that the sports business industry had to offer over the course of 2011.
With more than 160 campaigns, brands, teams and events considered by this year’s steering committees, reaching the shortlist in 2012 represents a stellar achievement that we are hugely proud of.
Our beautiful city race has been shortlisted alongside five other UK events. The shortlists will now go forward for consideration by the main Judging Panel, who will decide our fate later this year.
