Hoodie

You may have admired some of the Royal Parks Foundation Hoodies being worn around the Food & Fitness Festival area at the 2011 Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon. These were specially created for the wonderful people who entered the 2011 ballot and paid up front, in the knowledge that if they didn’t get a place then their fee would be converted to a donation to the Royal Parks Foundation.  We have updated this hugely popular gift to make the special 2012 edition of the Royal Parks Foundation Hoodie.

The Royal Parks Foundation Hoodie is made from soft, sustainable bamboo and organic cotton (and a little spandex that provides some stretch!), similar to our wonderful running shirts.  This top-quality garment would normally retail at over £45.  We’ve chosen a useful navy colour, with our unique tree design on the back to make you stand out from the crowd!  The inside colour of the Hoodie also reflects the chosen 2012 Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon race shirt colour – sunshine yellow.

The benefits of this unique bamboo hoodie include:
Easy care
Wrinkle resistant
Quick dry
Naturally breathable
Naturally odour resistant
Naturally bacteria resistant

With sustainability top of the agenda for race day, the Royal Parks Foundation is doing everything it can to help reduce the impact of the Half Marathon on the environment.  To ensure we are not wasteful, we’ll order the Hoodies after the 2012 ballot so we know exactly how many to make.

Using local materials and a small, family-run supplier in China, the hoodies will take about four months to make and ship over (not flown!) to be delivered to your door.

Thank you for your support!
